…a while since my mother and I  shared a conversation. and a few minutes ago before opening my laptop, we had a great talk.

…it was about a few things that is happening around us lately.

…the way people defy the old norms and standards of Filipinos. A few people we know that is engaged into having multiple wives and they’re not even Muslims. The immoral issues being thrown to the youth of today. And the way people of today think-it’s like they do not distinguish the good from the bad. I mean just because it feels so good, it doesn’t change the fact that what you are doing is bad. get it?

…oh and  to the problems and the “stressors” surrounding us, my mom said “Dalin mo lahat ng magaan. Hayaan mong mukha nila ang maguhitan at hindi yang iyo. sabi nga sa advertisement ng emperador light, ‘gawin mong light’ “ 

the last few lines really made me smile :)
